Metropolitan Herman of Kursk and Rylsk consecrated the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Nikolskoye

– Today, consecrating the temple, in honor of St. Nicholas the Pleaser, on the day of his feast, by his little work, modest prayers, we make an offering out of love for him, a gift to all of us. I, as Archpastor of the Kursk Metropolis, always happy, when the temple is restored and filled with people. It's a joy for the abbot's father as well. – Hieromonk Methodius, who worked hard here with his beloved brother, Hieromonk Kirill, His Kingdom of Heaven, eternal blessed memory.

Each of us, believing in the power of the holy prayers of St. Nicholas, feels his intercession. Let us try to imitate meekness., Humility, the kindness and love of this kind and merciful pleaser of God, St. Nicholas of Christ and the Wonderworker.

Church in the Name of St. Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra was built and consecrated 11 September (by art. Art.) 1868 of the year. The construction of the temple was carried out at the expense of parishioners and donors. Before the Revolution 1917 for a year the number of parishioners reached 2761. The parish was in charge of the parochial school.. The temple remained active until 1962 of the year. After the closure, the temple building was used as a repository for pesticides., as a result of which the painting was lost, the temple has fallen into disrepair. AT 1999 the year of the works of the monks of the Root Desert began the revival of the St. Nicholas Church. S 28 August 2003 Regular worship services resumed.
