Schedule of Holy Week services 2024 of the year

29, 30 April and 1 May – on Holy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts will be celebrated.

The beginning of the divine service in 7.00

2 May – Maundy Thursday. Remembrance of the Last Supper.

7.30 – Clock, vespers, Liturgy of Basil the Great.
18.00 – Matins with the reading of the Passion Gospel.

3 May – Good Friday. Remembrance of the Holy Saving Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

8.00 – Tsar's Clock.
15.00 – Vespers with the removal of the Holy Shroud.
18.00 – Matins with the Rite of Burial and procession.

4 May – Holy Saturday.

7.30 – Clock, vespers, Liturgy of Basil the Great.
During the Liturgy, confession will be made for those who wish to take communion on Easter night..
11.30-19.30 – Consecration of Easter Offerings.
It will be performed on the Cathedral Square in front of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos.
20.00 – Beginning of the Reading of the Acts of the Holy Apostles before The Holy Shroud.
20.30-24.00 – Confession will be made for those wishing to take communion on Easter night.

During the Easter service, confession is made

24.00 – Beginning of the Procession and Easter Service.
