11 years since the death of the monastery's spiritual father, Archimandrite Varnava (Drobysheva)

13 December 2023 On the feast day of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, a festive divine service was held in the monastery. the day before – Statutory Divine Service to the Apostle Andrew the First-Called, after which the abbot of the monastery, Hegumen Seraphim, performed a parastas for the ever-memorable spiritual father of the monastery, Archimandrite Varnava (Drobyshev). On the day of the feast, the Divine Liturgy was served, at the end of which the glorification of the feast of the Holy One took place. Afterwards, Hegumen Seraphim, co-served by the treasurer of the monastery and the arriving clergy – spiritual children of the ever-memorable Father Archimandrite – performed a pannikhida. At the burial place of Father Varnava in the monastery cemetery, Archpriest Alexander Kanunnikov served a memorial litany, followed by a memorial luncheon.
